What Phasorium keeps about you, where it is kept, and how to ask about it.
Phasorium has no accounts, no cookies and no analytics script. This page says what is kept, where, and how to ask about it.
Who is responsible
Phasorium is run by Anas Talib, who is responsible for the data described here (the controller, in data-protection terms). Questions go to [email protected].
What the host sees
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, the host receives your IP address and the address of each page you open, and keeps them in server logs for a short time to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. How Cloudflare handles these logs is set out in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What your browser keeps
Three things are kept in your browser's local storage, never in cookies, and none of them is sent to us: the lessons you have read and where you left off, your choice of look (dark or light), and whether you paused the moving picture on the home page. Forget my progress, at the foot of every page once something is remembered, clears your progress. Clearing this site's data in your browser's settings clears all three.
The microphone
A few instruments can listen through your microphone, only after you press a button and allow it in your browser. The sound is analysed in your browser; it is not saved or sent anywhere.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask what personal data is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. The site holds none itself; if you write to us, your message is used only to reply. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
